Ronda was cutting the last 5 pounds of weight in her room, on weight in day with Mike Dolce’.  In and out of this crazy hot bathtub while thinking about being anyplace but in hot water.

She’s laying on her bed in between hot bath sessions and out of the blue, she started to laugh, and laugh and talk non stop.

She was tad bit delirious and it was funny watching her in this state. She talked about media outlets, the love of her fans and how much she appreciated them, juggling multiple spinning plates and then she got serious…sort of.

“The weight cut in a weird way is my happy place. This is where things get simple.  People want such complicated problems and for me, this is so simple. You know what I have to do? I have to weigh 135lbs at 4pm today and tomorrow I have to beat Alexis Davis, and that’s it.  After that, I get to eat so many hot wings. It’ll be just me, my friends, family and Hot Wings”

As she walked into the bathroom for her last hot bath session, she looked back at me and said “I’m about to fuck all these bitches up”

Literally, right at the end of that statement, I snapped this image and it was a rare moment where Ronda shows it all in this one. Strength, a beautiful softness and supreme confidence.

The next night at UFC 175 against Alexis Davis, Ronda did exactly what she said, and ended the fight ended in 16 seconds.
